Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Uploading, releasing and streaming are all free, with no distribution fees and no ads. The only limits are the minimum needed to stop spam, like a daily upload cap.
Can I upload tracks made with any AI tool?
Yes, we don’t restrict tools. You need the rights to release the music, and you should check that your tool’s terms allow commercial use. Every track is labeled AI, AI-assisted or human-made.
Do you take human-made music?
Yes. Mark it “human-made”. Reach and features are exactly the same.
Who owns the rights to my music?
You do. renditio only gets the right to store, convert and stream it on the service while it’s public. When you upload, you also let us use the track to promote renditio on our official channels.
Does renditio make music with AI?
No. renditio doesn’t generate music. You release music made with whatever tools you choose.
When are the mobile apps coming?
iPhone and Android apps are coming soon. Until then you can listen and open the studio in your phone’s browser. Uploading tracks needs a computer browser.
